Phnom Penh: On the morning of July 10, 2026, His Excellency Mao Sela, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), met and shared updates on Cambodia’s digital technology development progress and the ministry’s key achievements with the management and IT students from Saint Paul Institute in Takeo Province—bringing together approximately 80 participants at the MPTC headquarters.

During the meeting, H.E. Under Secretary of State highlighted the progress that the ministry has achieved, including internal reforms, national revenue mobilization, regulatory improvements, telecommunications service enhancements, human resource development, digital startup incubation support, digital technology sector development, and building digital government—particularly the document verification platform, verify.gov.kh, which recently won a UN award; and the development of the DG SuperApp platform, as well as other recent achievements. At the same time, H.E. Under Secretary of State encouraged the students to study hard and set clear goals to contribute to national development.
